Hi, I’m Andrea Hernández Arce — architect, jewelry designer, and founder of ENOIRA.

I’ve spent more than a decade learning how to see the world through structure, rhythm, and form. Architecture was my first language. It taught me that nothing meaningful exists without intention — that every line, every void, every material choice carries weight. That way of thinking never left me. It simply found a new scale: the human body.

My journey into jewelry was not a hobby. It was a decision to go deeper — into craft, into knowledge, into responsibility.

I completed a year-long formal diploma in jewelry design and goldsmithing, where I trained in both basic and advanced metalsmithing techniques. From there, my path took me beyond my own country and into the hands of masters.

At L’École, Van Cleef & Arpels, I pursued international courses in gemology and traditional Japanese techniques, immersing myself in a culture where precision, patience, and respect for materials are non-negotiable.

I trained under Kimiaki Kageyama, one of the most respected figures in contemporary jewelry, in his Line Inlay Overlay and Gold Gradation techniques — learning to treat metal not as a surface, but as a landscape.

I studied vitreous enamel with Jamie Bennett, a leading authority in contemporary jewelry enameling, where color becomes something fused, permanent, and alive.

I learned jewelry illustration with Barbara Brocchi, the illustrator behind Bulgari’s most iconic visual language — understanding how a piece is born first on paper, long before it exists in gold.

I trained in wax modeling and micro-wax carving with Moto Nakaba, where precision happens at a scale measured in millimeters and breath.

Today, I continue my formal gemological education at the Gemological Institute of America (GIA), because in this world, knowledge is never finished.

For me, transparency is not a trend. It’s a responsibility.

Every piece I create is meant to be understood — not just worn. I want you to know what stone you’re choosing, how it was treated, where its value comes from, and why it exists in this form. Jewelry should not be a mystery wrapped in marketing. It should be a story you can stand behind.

I design because I believe the world doesn’t need more of what already exists. It needs more of what is missing: intention, meaning, and courage.

ENOIRA was born from that belief — and from a personal decision to stop letting opportunities pass unlit.

Here, jewelry is not decoration.

It’s a statement.

A marker of who you are, and what you choose to carry with you.
